Northbridge Awards International claims office reception

United States · Canada · Australia

Non-repayable grants for individuals facing a specific cost.

Applications are open to residents of the US, Canada and Australia. Every application is assessed by hand against published criteria, and we reply to you in writing either way.

There is no fee at any stage. Applying does not guarantee an award, and we never request payment or banking passwords.

We never contact you first to offer money. You apply to this programme yourself. If someone calls, texts or emails claiming you have already been awarded a Northbridge grant and asks for a payment or bank credentials, it is not us — report it.

How to spot a fake message

The application process

Three steps, no cost to you

1. Check the criteria and apply

Read the published eligibility criteria, then complete the application form describing the cost you need covered.

2. Automatic confirmation

We email you straight away with a reference code confirming your application was received and is queued for assessment.

3. Assessment & written decision

An assessment officer reviews your application against the published criteria and emails you the outcome either way.

What we fund

Non-repayable grants funded by Universal Grant Income

We assess individual grant applications on behalf of Universal Grant Income. Awards support a specific, evidenced cost — housing arrears, training fees, care costs or the first steps of self-employment. There is nothing to repay, no interest, no credit check and no fee at any stage. Funding is limited, so not every eligible application receives an award.

  • Non-repayable

A grant, not a loan — no interest and no repayment schedule.

  • No fee, ever

Nothing to pay to apply, be assessed or receive an award.

  • Evidence-based

Awards are tied to a documented cost, not a general top-up.

  • Paid to you

Funds go to an account in your own name, or straight to a supplier.
